Today’s #CharityChallenge took me to The Kelowna SPCA where I made some new friends both human and furry.

The passion of the staff and volunteers was overwhelming in everything they did from caring for sick animals to making sure they find their “forever homes.”

I had no idea the SPCA did so many things. They organize foster networks for animals who can’t stay in kennels, they take animal food donations and supply to owners who might need help paying their puppy food bills, they even perform cruelty investigations to assure pets are always in the happiest and healthiest environment.

If you’d like to support the SPCA you can either contact Kaylyn Robinson (krobinson@spca.bc.ca) to volunteer or support one of the great projects they are organizing this season.

The Kelowna SPCA office has a tree full or ornaments with donation needs written on them. Pop by, grab an ornament and fulfil the small donation.

On Dec 17th from 10am – 2pm the Kelowna SPCA will be having their annual bake sale. Grab some delicious holiday baked goods and help raise money to support their amazing programs.
